Hi there,

It appears Digital Receptionists were locked for free plans somewhat recently. The pricing pages aren't very clear; I'm looking for a simple menu/touch tone call handling system like the Digital Receptionists had allowed for.

I'm also wondering, if I were to instead self-host on my own server, would I have access to Digital Receptionists, and would the number still be limited to ~10 as it was before?

Free version has an auto attendant, you can play an announcement and then forward the call to an extension or ring group.

Now, if you are talking about multi level IVR then it is available using the SMB or dedicated installations.

It has been like this without any change recently.

Thank you for the response: I might be talking about IVR, but in my dashboard it seems to be called Digital Receptionists under Call Handling -- several months ago I was able to make a few, upload my greetings, and interlink the receptionists as menus. Now they are locked, but I understand it's now only for the paid plans.

In the SMB plan, what is the maximum amount of menus/digital receptionists allowed? I recall I was limited to about 9 when the feature wasn't locked.

Thank you!

Yes, it has been like this without any recently change.

The auto attendant on Free Version is the one available in the call routing where you can enable the option Play Announcement and route to an extension or ring group code.

The digital receptionist is a multi level IVR available only on SMB and dedicated installations.

Using Standard Digital receptionist you can configure the options 0-9. With the SMB you can use up to 10 system extensions.
