Disable dialer on v18 Windows App

Goodmorning,

it's possible to disable the dialer on v18 Windows App?

For people who have a telephone (and never use pc to call) it's unconmfortable for each call to have the dialer pop up on the screen

The extensions have an IP phone provisioned and are logged in to the 3CX Desktop App at the same time? Are they using the phone in CTI mode?

i have multiple user with different configuration, iPhone APP or IP Phone logged at the same time.

All my user have the app installed on windows for use chat from pc and view the list of internal.

When receive a call the dialer popup on the screen and it's annoying.

We currently don't have a way to 'ignore' incoming calls on the Desktop App, while at the same time allow incoming calls to the Mobile app, when they are registered to the same extension.

Your only solution would be to have 2 different Extension numbers:

• 1x on the Mobile Apps of users and would be for calls.
• 1x for the Desktop Apps that users can use to chat with, send/receive SMS, etc.

I have 100 extensions in my company... not a good idea to duplicate all extensions

How bout using the webclient instead of the desktop app? You'll still receive the call on of course but it may seem a bit less intrusive as the dialer is not detached and will not pop-up separately.

The new desktop app is better for chat notification. I am slowly replacing the webclient for all users for this reason.

It's not a problem, but consider for next upgrade to disable the dialer also in the desktop app
