Does anyone know why this icon changes color randomly or what it's indicating?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to understand why some phones keep dropping in and out of connectivity. I have noticed it's linked to the 'red' color of the icon; however, it changes to green and back without any action on my part. The dashboard additionally doesn't have any header so I can't tell exactly what its indicating. Can anyone advise why or what the icon could be representing? \

We currently are using the 18.0.7.312 version, and i am unable to upgrade the system to V20.

First of all, your version is way to old to upgrade. You need to reinstall with backup and restore to at least v18 u9b.

This icon indicates the status of the extension.
