Downgrade Grandstream GDS3705 firmware?

Hi there! I'm running into an issue of speakerphone volume being very quiet that we have confirmed is caused by a couple of Grandstream GDS3705 devices being on firmware 1.0.3.11 from the factory, and 3CX only supports up to 1.0.1.6. We've already confirmed that the issue we're having is being caused by the firmware since we have another client with the exact same devices running 1.0.1.6, we borrowed one from them and set it up where we're having the volume issue and it was working perfectly.

I've been trying to use GS Upgrade Utility, and getting into the web UI of the phone to try downgrading the firmware but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone successfully downgraded the firmware on one of these and can maybe help shed light on how to do it? I've been working with Grandstream support but it seems that I'm telling them how I think it should be downgraded more than they're actually telling me how to downgrade it.

I work with MUpton603 and we've both been in contact with Grandstream on this and their official stance is they will not allow anyone to downgrade new GDS3705 devices to 1.0.1.6 (the only 3cx supported firmware) because the firmware is too old
(4+ years released in December of 2019. )

The firmware shipping on the devices we have recently ordered is 1.0.3.11 (over 2 years old - released in May of 2022) and do not function properly using the only available 3CX firmware.

They also offer version 1.0.3.16 which was just released about 3 months ago.

Grandstream is telling us that 3CX needs to release an updated 3CX supported firmware that will support the current hardware being shipped. Looking around the forums here I see other users with issues who also need an updated 3CX firmware.
Do you have any idea how long it will be before 3CX can release an update?

updating based on 1.0.3.16 would make the most sense, I'd imagine.

Hey everyone in 3CX Land! Hope you are having a great day!
Just hoping to get some help with these Grandstream GD3705 devices.
These are current (not EOL) and we have some at public safety centers (Fire and Police) that just don't work properly.
Could you please review my findings above and maybe see about updating your driver for it? Grandstream released new firmware as recently as 3 months ago (well, almost 4 now - my post above is almost a month old)

the options for functional door phones is dwindling and does not give me confidence in putting bids in for new sales unless it's the most basic of setups.

I love your software - really hoping someone can spend some time on the Grandstream doorphones.
Hopefully I don't find them in the 'limited' support section of your website in the near future!
