Setup: 3CX running on a Virtual Machine (VM) on co-located server. Server running Win2K3 EE x64, with Routing & Remote access set up. Ports 5060-63, 9000-5 and 7000-3 open and forwarded to VM internal IP Address (10.10.10.40).

VM has same ports open on internal windows firewall.

All extensions are external to both VM running 3CX and server running VM.

Calls between extensions are fine.

Calls using another provider (OzTell) are fine. VoIP Providers & Extensions are set up with Support ReInvite checked, and Bind to Media Server/PBX Delivers Audio un-checked.

Calls using MyNetFone drop 30 seconds after they are established. I suspect that this is a re-invite issue.

If I clear the Supports ReInvite check boxes for the extension I'm using for testing and for the MyNetFone VOIP provider the call is established, but there is no audio.

If I select (check) Bind to Media Server/PBX Delivers Audio, and leave Support ReInvite selected, I get audio, but the call drops after 30 seconds.

If I select (check) Bind to Media Server/PBX Delivers Audio, and clear Support ReInvite selected, I get no audio.

It appears that - at least with my combination of external extensions and MyNetFone, that I need Supports ReInvite selected to get any audio, but this will always cause the call to be dropped after 30 seconds.

Below is a log snippet with Supports ReInvite cleared, and Bind Audio checked:

I suspect you may have a codec issue as 3cx does not support G729 and MNF does nt support G711 I had a similar issue when I tried to use MyNetPhone which meant I cound make calls but not receive them I dropped MNF and used ENGIN instead. That said I still ues MNF at Home quite happilly.

I tried raisiing G711 issues woth MNF and they said it is not supported even though I could make calls with it.

I believe version 4 will support G729 if you really want them
