Hello

Using latest v20 version (build 1620)

We've noticed this morning that all our Yealink deskphones shows 1 hour delay

The server is configured on GMT+1, and time is right when I connect using SSH and launch a "date" command.
Phones also all configured on Timezone GMT+1, like the server, but they show 1 hour more.

So for instance if it's 9:40AM, deskphones show 10:40AM
The server show the right time, 9:40AM, only the deskphones have the issue.

If I set the phones timezones to GMT, they say now 8:40AM, which is right.
And as soon as I se them to GMT+1, they show 10:40AM, which is wrong.

Could be an issue with DST?
Because of DST we're supposed to add 1 hour to our clocks the 31st march at 2AM (so GMT+1 will become GMT+1+1 so GMT+2)
But we are only the 27th march, so we still should be GMT+1

There are a couple of threads already - it's a Yealink problem (DST set to 4th week of March instead of last) so the fix will need to come from them.

Without a fix, this will recur. The workarounds are not great. There is confusion that this is to do with leap years - it isn't, it's when there are 5 weekends in March.

That's my summary :)

This has already been raised with the vendor and a fix will need to come from them.

The good news is the week is almost over and during the actual DST change this weekend it will be resolved, but the fix will be implemented for future years.

Thanks @Lee Cramman and @NicholasP_3CX
We'll wait quietly the end of the week
Because anyway, if I understood, the time shown on the phones have no effects on the rules? It's the time on the PBX that matters?

Thats correct. It is just what shows on the phones' displays. No other functionality is affected.
