Hi there - I'm looking to migrate a number of clients who are e-faxing with our previous voip provider. It uses email for sending/receiving which I really like due to its simplicity. I've searched the forum here for people using certain faxing cloud services with 3cx but was surprised to find a lot of people using 3CX for faxing. I have some clients still doing 2k+ pages /mo (ridiculous) so I'd like something unlmited. What do you folks use?
This thread offers bits of info, but it would be helpful to get a bit more info by what is meant in the response.

3cx is a phone system and fax is just a special type of phone call.

3cx really isn't a great fax service if that's all you want. A value addon to your phone system - sure. But a dedicated eFax solution is going to be better for a high volume fax operation. You need a 3cx license, a sip trunk that supports fax, and then inbound faxes are converted to PDF. Outbound faxes can be done with a physical machine and an ata or a fax software that speaks SIP.

What's the real "want" here?

Thanks SA. In that case I guess recommendations on a fax service offered by resellers. A professional company that allows me to offer the service to clients at a reasonable price.

The term you want to search for is efax for msps. efax.com themselves offers a service as do many others. I'm sorry I can't provide any recommendations for resale - but I've used RingCentral and HelloFax previously for single companies.
