E911 Settings inside of 3CX

Hello,

For reference: I am now using the SMB plan hosted with 3CX.

I am trying to set up the system so that 911 will work if needed, but I am unable to find the settings as described in the video I found. Could someone please point me in the right direction? I do know about submitting e911 info to the SIP Trunk Provider.

Hi there.
In that case, for FREE/SMB you will need to add regular outbound rules, as indeed it's not the same as when you configure and administrate your own Phonesystem.

For v20 Update1 this is the only video found from Voxtelsys. Not sure if this is the only setup on the new v20 for E911, or anything else is required as well?

Is your video for the reference of the first reply?
As in SMB/Free, you dont have emergency calls access, as it is a shared server and regular outbound rules needs to be created in that case .

If its related to Free or SMB than you dont have any options to configure E911.

E911 setup in 3CX with enterprise license for v20 Update1.

That's not 3cx it's your provider. 3cx are just sending your call to your provider and your provider your data to 911.

There are 20 buildings, each with its own DID and address. The SIP provider will send the address associated with the specific DID for each building. However, it's unclear how they would know detailed E911 information like the specific floor or office. Is this something that needs to be configured in 3CX? This has not yet been clarified.

No, that's your provider who is sending this data. You have to configure just the correct dids to your extensions.
