Hello,

On old PBX Systems like IP-Office users could dial a short code that would divert "all" inbound calls to another number e.g. a mobile number.

Is there a similar way users can divert all inbound calls in 3CX?

Without giving them full admin access and changing inbound rules manually?

Hi @peter_sgc,

You can either set up office hours and have the system automatically change the out of office routing of the SIP trunk to a mobile number you select, or you can manually bring the PBX into out of office by dialing a shortcode (default: *64(0) / *64(1)).

Thanks,

Office hrs won't work as they require to put the system to Divert whenever they leave the office.
I will look into the Shortcodes.

It would be nice If you could do a shortcode and then the number you want to divert all calls to, as it would stop the "our old system could do this"..

Hi @peter_sgc,

Yes, do investigate the shortcodes. That will be able to put the office 'out of office' and follow the out of office routing you set (to the external number you've selected) on the fly. Remember that by forcing the PBX out of office you will need to force the PBX back in office when you come back in, it won't follow the routing of the Global Office Hours set in Settings >> Timezone & Office Hours Settings.
