Good Morning Colleagues
I hope you are doing good and safe.

I have tried to use the 3CX softphone on android on many occasions while out of the office but anyone I call or talk says they always hear their own voice echo back to them.

Kindly find the below details:
  • Echo cancellation is on.
  • Telecom API is off.
  • My phone is Lenovo K8 note.
Any suggestions from your side to solve this issue?

Best Regards

Hi
Please try to change client's Audio Subsystem API (in client Settings/Advanced/Audio Options) and see if there's a improvement. No restart requires, just change it then try a call.
Thanks

Hello Vali
I have toggle between the two options of "Audio Subsystem API" but same issue exist.

Any other suggestions from your side?

Best Regards

Hi!

I'm probably going to ask a silly question, but are you using speaker phone when the far end party complains that they hear themselves?

If not, when the complain next time, while on the call, can you try toggling the "Earpiece" button, then pressing the "Speaker" button to back to the initial option?
Also, at the time they complain, do you have any other BT device paired, like ear buds, headsets, car system, etc?
