Hi.
Recently we updated our Edge Business installation from v89.0.774.54 in Windows 2019 server to lates available versione v91.0.864.48.
After that update our 3CX web extension has become unstable. With previous version all worked fine for long time.

Calls starts correctly on Yealink T46S, but randomly the extension will remain in a strange state (greyed out) and stop responding to call commands.
Starting from that moment no calls can be made through extension.

It seems like the extension does not hang call and if, for example, a new call arrives the one that seems to be active will be set in waiting status.
It's not so easy to understand, but I try to attach 2 screen captures.

Do someone have the same issue? Do you know how to resolve? Is it a bug with extension v4.3.0.348?

Regards

Mirco

Hi @crvdf,

Have you tried to place the calls using the Web Client in Chrome? Does the same issue occur?

We can't test on Chrome as we are using a Citrix environement and Chrome is not deployed for users.

Ok. But we are not speaking of audio issues. We are not using webclient to call directly using audio channel. The issue is related to the call manage using a desktop phone and is born with Edge update.
The Edge extension seem to be not in sync with 3CX server and the active call will freeze. As a result no calls can be managed using webclient or extension after the issue occours.

No problem I will test it on a local machine and then come back with results.

That sounds a bit like https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...chrome-extension-for-the-3cx-webclient.76782/? (though that is Chrome) There are workarounds discussed in that thread like minimize/restore the extension window or reloading the extension.
Or, per yesterday's post on Alpha 5, it sounds like v18 will be doing away with the browser extension.
