Please try support Asterisk v13. It is stable now. We have been using it successfully in production for some time. It will almost definitely be the standard long term version when Elastix 4 is production ready. Asterisk 11 will be security fix only starting in Oct 2016 and end of life a year later.
Also, pjsip support should be on the roadmap. That may require using Freepbx v12 or v13.
