Anyone know why the Elastix5 download stills shows as beta in the name if it is supposed to be the current stable supported version?

No Elastix 5 is a beta release still

It is not Elastix anymore, it is 3CX Built-in.

Yes, just like Elastix had Asterisk built in, its a change of telephony engine. Please, i invite everybody to try Elastix with 3CX and see the technology for yourself.

What benefit is there using Elastix now rather than just a straight up install of 3CX?

Bye bye Elastix, it was nice knowing you.

FreePBX here we come.

I can no longer access bugs.elastix.org. There is a lot of valuable information there.

If you guys truly want to be community players or whatever you will restore that link or archive the information somewhere.

You also removed the Elastix 4 forum. Another bad sign that the new owners want to kill off Elastix as we know it as fast as possible.

Hi Surp,

We will definitely look into bugs.elastix.org - either by restoring it or exporting the data. That said we have to review what we are exporting and ensure there is no confidential information there. We will look into this early into the new year, we are swamped now.

Re the Elastix forum, it only had a few hundred posts max and related to Elastix 4 of course so this was deleted.

regards,

What happens now with the community that we used Elastix?
Is there any unrestricted alternative that is free ?, just like FreePBX or Ombutel

Que pasa ahora con la comunidad que usabamos Elastix?
Hay alguna alternativa sin restricciones que sea gratis?, asi como es FreePBX u Ombutel

???

What changed between last week and this week that suddenly bugs.elastix.org (a publicly accessible area for years) now has confidential information???

Also why delete Elastix 4 forum? Elastix 4 is still a released product just like Elastix v2.5 is.

You had time to make bugs.elastix.org inaccessible but now you do not have time to make it accessible???

What changed is that we took over the admin of the server and data, so at minimum we must install a server, install the bug tracking software, backup and restore to the latest version for security purposes.

Secondly we need to review if any of the information does not infringe on some companies rights as we are the ones distributing the data. This includes copyright AND trademark rights. We have already received legal communications from those parties, so yes, this needs to be done.
