Email notification template editin, add callerid name, etc

We have been testing 3CX with the intent of installing it soon, but we hit a one off question regarding email notification template editing to add callerid name, improve layout, etc, that I am having trouble getting a current answer to. It looks as as of 2009 (in this forum), there was no way to edit this email template, so that there was no way to do something such as include the same of the caller in the email notification. Is this still true in the current version, that there is no way to edit this? is it also true as far as we know in V 10? Can one just edit the PHP code directly, or is that verboten (I would much rather not, of course)?

It looks like the caller ID name in the voicemail notification email is going to happen at some point. http://3cx.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Caller-ID-Name-on-voicemail-notification-emails./77086-9854

Whether that means it is in the version 10 beta (haven't yet tried it), or it will be released later, I don't know.
