Hi!
I have a little problem. We have setup 3CX for 4 digit extension. In quebec, we have some services that use 3 digit number (911, 811, 411, 311,...). I've added those to the emergency numbers. It works great.

After that, I have configure email to be sent when someone is calling an emergency number.

The problem is that 811,411,311 are not emergency number and is confusing the security agent at the office.

Any thought on how I can solve this? The only email be sent if 911 is dialed?

Thanks!

Do you have any restrictions on outgoing calls on extensions i.e. Block Outbound calls outside of Office Hours

You only add numbers to Emergency numbers as these bypass all restrictions that maybe in place - 'When dialled, this number will ignore outbound in office or out of office rules'

If you have no restrictions, remove the non emergency numbers from the emergency number setup - only enter numbers where you want to receive emails.

The rest of the numbers, make sure you have outbound rules configured correctly.

Sounds like you don't have an outbound rule to handle 3 digit calls. Add one and remove the non emergency numbers from the emergency list.

Why have you added non-emergency numbers (anything other than 911), to the list?

Outbound rule - put at the top of your list.
(I have a backup route here)

As far as emergency number setting - this is only needed if you do not allow extensions to make calls after hours. So, you may keep 911 there, otherwise, not needed.
