Hi
I have a 3cx v16 on windows server 2012R2
I notice that there are hundreds of established sessions like this when doing netstat
Is this normal?
TCP127.0.0.1:4105webmeeting:64403 ESTABLISHED
TCP127.0.0.1:4105webmeeting:64407 ESTABLISHED
TCP127.0.0.1:4105webmeeting:64417 ESTABLISHED
TCP127.0.0.1:4105webmeeting:64418 ESTABLISHED
TCP127.0.0.1:4105webmeeting:64421 ESTABLISHED
TCP127.0.0.1:4105webmeeting:64422 ESTABLISHED
TCP127.0.0.1:4105webmeeting:64425 ESTABLISHED

Hi Johan

What netstat options did you use to generate this output exactly?
netstat -e ?

I only used netstat without any option

So I imagine you ran netstat on the Windows server of the PBX, can you check your hosts file please?

You should find it in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

You probably have an FQDN named webmeeting.something.com to resolve to 127.0.0.1

If this is not your PBX domain then it is unrelated to 3CX

Yes i found this in the hosts file.
127.0.0.1 barloworldwebmeeting.3cx.co.uk
127.0.0.1 barlowsbok.3cx.co.za

Should this be there?
We do not really use the webmeeting on this server.

When you install the 3CX system on a Windows host, the installer will create an entry in the hosts file pointing your FQDN to 127.0.0.1

I speculate that this server has had at least two installations done so far, one with each FQDN you see there.

Is your current FQDN the 2nd one? if so just remove the first one and save the hosts file.

Thank you John, I will do that and check again.
