Exchange contacts to 3CX Phonebooks vs Microsoft 365 Integration

Goodmorning,
I know the difference between the two integrations.
In particular, for the public address book, one can connect to the shared mailbox (Microsoft365) and one to the public folders (Exchange).

Other differences? Which of the two is recommended?
Can you link personal mailboxes to personal contacts in both cases?

It is recommended that the Office365 is used. As you may also see in the guideline you can also use the Non-Microsoft 365 users (Local Active Directory) option:

365 User mailbox contacts only sync to 3CX users personal contacts.

To sync 365 contacts to 3cx company contacts requires shared mailbox contacts.
