I have an extension that is being created automatically by the M365 sync.

The extension has no email, and no first/last name, and it is linked with a M365 account (not sure which account).

I have tried deleting it but it's created again at the nightly sync.

Is there any way of identifying which M365 account it's associated with?

You can cross-reference the emails that are synced from the side of the PBX to the ones that exist on the Azure side.
Also, if you have a previous backup of that PBX, check the email of extension 199.
After that, you can check on the Azure side if the user still exists there.

Thank you - found it!

It is a M365 global administrator account that has no license + no email, but was selected as a user in 3CX under "Configure which users".

Unlicensed users don't show up in "Select users" however global admins show up even if they aren't licensed.
