Can anyone weigh-in on the following questions about a Fanvil i64 (or similar) doorphone:

1. Any way to store the video from the door phone, either by an SD card or even just using the 3cx call record function (would that even include video)? Anything that we can install to use something like a NAS to store the video?

2. If we program RFID cards and have 2 door phones (for two entrances) is there a way to sync the devices so that we don't have to program the cards twice?

3. Are there any door chimes available that work with these, or could we program a Ring Group to ring a specific ring when someone calls from the door?

4. Does anyone have any recommendations for either compatible magnetic locks or electric strike plate locks that work well with these?

5. Can you use the Fanvil Link App and also have the phone provisioned in 3CX ...any issues using both as a way to monitor a door from your cell phone?

Customer is presently on v18 on-site but moving to v20 self- hosted on DigitalOcean with a Windows-based SBC on-site.

1. I would guess you could use a Windows screen recording app?

2. The Fanvils have export/import for those in their web GUI.

3. The web client/app/phone can show the Front Door extension name as caller ID...?

4. Not the lock per se but for the controller see partner forum thread https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/door-phone-101.122119/.

5. No idea.

I mean, I really wasn't trying to be snarky. :) I was just brief while writing. All 3CX call recording AFAIK happens on the server and it wouldn't stream video there. A screen recording wouldn't have audio but technically that wasn't the question...

1. Maybe you can consider using NVR to record the video of the door phone.
5. Haven't tried it. It is recommended to conduct an actual test.
