Hello,

Ive got a question regarding the Fanvil H2U-V2. That they wont use LLDP and go to the right vlan.
Is it a know issue?

Supported phones on the 3CX website says: Fanvil H Series: H2S, H2U, H3, H5
not the V2.

Case 1:
3CX version: 18.0 Update 3 (Build 461) Professional
Server: Windows server 2019 Standard
Phone Firmware: 2.4.8

Case 2:
3CX version: 16.0.8.16 Professional
Server: Windows server 2019 Standard
Phone Firmware: 2.4.8.1
Info: Phone gets his configuration via dhcp option 66. all goes well. sip and account info. also lldp is on and configured vlan is in the phones config, but it wont go to that vlan.

3CX says firmwares are up to date.

Sounds like an Fanvil (firmware) issue, not 3CX.

Does anyone has the same problem?

Hi,

The H2U-V2 is not a supported device. You will have to do your own troubleshooting to see what is happening.

I think you should factory reset it, set the VLAN options manually first before you even provision anything in it and see if it can even join the VLAN.

If you do have issues, its best to contact Fanvil support directly.

Do you know if its gonna be supported?

Already did a factory reset, did not help. als got yealinks, they are provisioning fine. so think its a fanvil thing.
Gonna try the manual vlan config.

If the manual VLAN config does not work for you, I think you should contact Fanvil directly and report it.

It could be a bug, or it could be a something between that specific model and your specific network that just disagree with each other.

Our supplier will contact fanvil.

Fanvil confirmed there was a bug in the releases. The LLDP bug is fixed in version 2.4.8.3. Just tested with a beta release

Thanks for confirming, when we get a new release from Fanvil we will publish it.
