Hello everyone,

We use two Fanvil i18s - firmware 2.8.2.7020. These two devices are each attached to an outside door. These devices are connected as access ports to a Cisco switch.
Port Security is activated on these ports.
Secure Permanent / Action on Validation - Shutdown

The port is suspended at irregular intervals. The Cisco logs do not really show anything except that the port has been suspended.
Warning %LINK-W-Down: gi1/0/27 2147481437 2025-Dec-25 03:23:49 Warning %LINK-W-PORT_SUSPENDED: Port gi1/0/27 suspended by port-security

Copper test successful
Link flap prevention is activated
Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) disabled
Smart Port disabled

It appears that this happens when temperatures drop below 5°C. :)
I have downloaded the latest firmware 2.8.2.7009 from Fanvil and will test it for a while.

Has anyone had similar experiences?

Hi
I'd like to know from you what problems the port suspension will cause to the device. For example, will it result in the inability to access the network?

In addition, I suggest that you also try to enable and save the syslog function of the i18S during subsequent tests.
