Solved Fanvil i18s remote door release

Hello,

I have a Fanvil i18s video door phone on firmware 2.8.2.7009 configured and working, including H264 video to the Linphone client on iOS.

All of that is working fine, but what I cannot figure out is how to remotely trigger the door release relay.

I presume this will be by setting a DTMF code for the door phone to listen for, but I cannot find documentation on what the default code is, or see any place in the configuration to set my own.

Has anyone done it, please?

Look under EGS Setting > Features



Also note, your firmware is not the latest supported. You can upgrade it via the 3CX management console, or directly from our website: https://www.3cx.com/support/phone-firmwares/

Saqqara, thank you! In my interface it's Security Settings > Output > Remote DTMF Trigger Code. The default was 1234.



For the future, it's worth noting that this model and firmware version do not show an EGS menu item, although that is what is referenced in the Fanvil generic door phone configuration documentation.
