Fanvil i62 FW 2.12.44.12 V20 DSS Speed Dial Programming

I previously logged into web interface on Fanvil i62Door Phone and programmed the DSS button to speed dial extension 180. The next time I went back onsite I pushed the DSS button on the Door Phone and it didn't do anything. It seems that the phone re provisioned and that setting was overwritten. I'm now looking for the XML parameters to put this in a custom template so it stays.

You will need to add the Custom Speed Dial from the PBX and reprovision the phone otherwise any manual setting to the device web interface will be overwritten upon reprovisioning(by default every 24 hours).

Where are you adding the custom speed dial? Using BLF? Or do you add in XML by creating custom Template?

Ok. I will add to custom speed dial to the 1st button under BLF. Let me know if there's somewhere it should go. I will have to go on-site to test this functionality.

Is there a place I can download the firmware manually? Upgrading via the PBX does not work.

1. Factory reset and do not provision it.

2. Then upgrade.

If it fails the upgrade, you need to visit Fanvil and get the older versions, then slowly upgrade through each one until you reach the one just before ours.

3. When all is done, you may now provision it.

You may also set a Speed Dial type BLF to the destination you want the button to call on the extension.
