Afternoon all.. We have just moved across to 3cx and Fanvil.. Our sales team are in a 'Ring All' ring group. The previous set up in the office was that the receptionists phone would constantly ring while it was being being passed through the group and waiting to be answered. Since we have installed 3CX, the receptionists phone rings 3 times and then as the call is then passed to other people within the pick up group, her phone stops ringing. It's as if once that call has been passed from her phone, it drops it to allow the next phone to ring. Is there any way this can be set so the receptionists phone will continue to ring until it the call has been answered by another phone in the group?

Create 2 ring groups.

1st group receptionist transfer to group 2 which includes sales and receptionist.

Alternatively, use a BLF on the receptionist's phone to allow them to use the call pickup feature.

Or just simply put the receptionist in the group..

Hi @teagle

This description does not sound like a "Ring All" group though..

The default behavior is to poll all the phones at the same time, until the defined Ring Time is reached.

After this it will follow the Destination if no Answer.

So the question is now, how did you set it up in these 3 settings?

Hey John_S - 'Main Office Group' - Ring strategy is set to Ring All - Ring Time is 27 seconds and Destination If No Answer is set to 'Connect to Queue / Ring Group' which is then set to 'Main Office Overflow'. Both groups contain 10 people and the Receptionist is in both groups.. Hope that makes sense

Ah yes that makes a bit more sense. Like @kieferschild said you can include the receptionist in the same group as the agents.

I'd also suggest you look at our training material in the 3CX Academy, it will explain what the expected behavior is and you can gain a better understanding of what options you have, and then decide how you want to build your ring groups or your queues.
