as per my previous 2 posts here and here DST for the SAST time zone is incorrect in the fanvil provisioning templates.

DST has taken affect again and now our times are off by 1 hour for the 3rd year...

This is a snippet of the fanvil.ph.xml template with the timezone I'm in:

EET_002

0

8

UTC+2

10

1

and this is all I've changed in my custom template :

0

both Harare & Pretoria should not have DST.

Please can we see to it that the template gets updated as I'm now sitting with an unsupported config due to the custom templates.

Hi there!

Thank you for pointing this out, we will try and address this in the next revision of the template.

Thanks, Will keep an eye out for the updated template.

Edit: Fanvil_hotel.ph.xml will also need to be updated in the same way

This has become very frustrating in South Africa, with the Fanvil phones. Please fix this issue for one and for all. I don't have single customer with Fanvil phones that does not complain about this. DST needs to be disabled. I tried to manually do this with a custom template, but it does not work.

Edit, I found the problem problem with my custom setup template and its working now, but not ideal situation as already mentioned in the post above.
