Hi all,

I'm on 3CX version 18.0 (Build 312), remote server, migrating to Fanvil V62 phones.

I was able to setup the router phone without issue but when I go to add normal phones I get this these messages in the event log:

Phone [MAC ADDRESS] of extension 12 is behind SBC Fanvil V62 (00) which has no known local IP yet!

and

Provisioning file [mac address].cfg requested by [IP address] could not be generated.

I've wiped updated the phones to the most recent firmware and made sure that the router phone was online before attempting to provision the normal phone. I've tried deleting and re-adding the normal phone extension without help.

There is no local IP address listed under the router phone extension and there doesn't appear for there to be a way for me to set this manually.

Any thoughts?

This means the router phone is not yet registered on 3CX, you can see it in the SIP trunks if the V62 SBC is green.
If you click on it you should see that it has populated its public and its local IP (very important)

Without this, the normal phones will not be able to get configured correctly.

Thanks John. I see that the SBC is not registered (red in SIP trunk). But the phone allows me to make/receive calls etc.

Do you have any suggestions or could you point me to a document to help me troubleshoot why the SBC is not registering?

Please tell me the version number of your firmware on the V62

Ok perfect, and also now show me your settings on its extension, Options tab specifically

Block remote phones using stun is not enabled.

Ok the reason it was working is because you removed the checkmark from here

I suggest you enable that to regain higher security, and then factory reset the V62
Hold down the black circle button until you see the option to reset, then press ok.

If everything is configured correctly as we expect, it should now come up and connect and the SBC should light up green.
Afterwards the normal phones can now be configured.
