I’ve been troubleshooting an issue with EAP-TLS authentication on Fanvil V63 devices and wanted to share my findings — and ask for some guidance.
### Issue:
- With the latest 3CX-customized firmware (v2.12.17.2), EAP-TLS does not work.
- With the latest official Fanvil firmware (v2.12.20.19), EAP-TLS works perfectly.
### My concern:
3CX currently prompts an upgrade (downgrade) when it detects version 2.12.20.19, since it’s not yet officially supported. However, "upgrading" to the 3CX version (v2.12.17.2) breaks EAP-TLS again.
### Questions:
1. Are there any known compatibility issues with Fanvil firmware 2.12.20.19 and 3CX?
2. Is there a timeline for when 3CX will support this or a newer version?
3. Are there any risks in continuing to use the official Fanvil firmware (2.12.20.19) in a production environment?
