I move my enterprise v20 Build 715 to digital ocean. When I restore I changed from port 5001 to 443 on purpose.

The V64 Fanvil after reboot did connect and lines are working, the logs shows them grabbing config from the RPS server. But the provision links are incorrect, they are the old links containing the 5001 port. So repovisioning doesn't actually work, for instance I did a password reset on a user and the phones go offline now. I have to log into the phones manually and fix the provisiong path.

The concern is they are likely going to grab the RPS config again and put the wrong provisioning path.

Any ideas how to resolve without deleting them and re-creating the extensions?

If you password reset in Admin that disconnects the phones in v20. Use Forgot Password on the login page instead.

Did you factory reset the phone?

If you can see that the RPS request was sent in your event log, just reset the phone itself.

Restoring the PBX with a different HTTPS port does not update the phone itself, because the phone is still pointing to 5001.

You would need to just reset the phone itself.

the logs shows them grabbing config from the RPS server
Not quite, the logs will show the PBX delivering the MAC to the RPS server, and then they will show the phone downloading the config from the 3CX server.

So nothing to worry there, just log into your phones and delete the ":5001" part then apply the changes.

You should now be able to reprovision all of them safely like you used to.
