Solved Fanvil X4U observations on firmware update

I've had some problems with firmware update that seem to have resolved themselves with rev 2.4.12.
We have two of the phones, one upstairs, one downstairs. The downstairs one updates as required, by the book.
The upstairs one has tended to hang during the update process and need the power cycling manually to complete.
I couldn't get 2.4.11 onto it at all, I guess it has an auto-revert function to avoid leaving it "bricked".

2.4.12 seems to have installed "like clockwork" complete with the automatic restart at the end though.

By resolved themselves I take it they are no longer a problem? The upstairs one is running the latest firmware now, correct?

Yes, I don't know if it is by chance or if the latest release was specially written to clean up after previous updates, but either way both appear to be working now. I presume this latest version should be good for a few months before I have to do it again, and I'm glad I'm not managing a three-figure number of extensions.
