fax server on V20

i have a did setup with +1xxxxxxxxxx and i've assigned it to the fax server under advanced 888. my provider is flowroute and they said everyhting looks good. when i try to fax or call that number the front desk phone rings instead of the fax server picking up.

It seems that the routing is not working.
Have you checked the number format that the provider sent you, is it the same number you have entered in the Phonesystem?

I’ve tried 11 digits as well as + with 11 digits. Then I tried just 10 digits but nothing fixed the issue

Since it is a supported trunk, you can open the ticket with us, and let's review the logs.

I did but support said flow route doesn’t support faxing even though Flowroute says they do

Indeed, the FAX for that provider is not supported from our end.
Should you pick one other SIP trunk that we do support for FAX and see how it goes?
Unless some other colleagues here could advise if they ever used the fax from this provider and our Phonesystem.

I just upgraded to v20 on our in office system

Our fax works fine using flowroute

When you call the number you hear the (3cx) fax machine answer

I confirmed it works as expected.
