Hi!

Incoming calls to our Fax-Server answered right after the first ring, but the forwarding to our mail didn't work.

The 3cxSystemService.log says about that:

Code:

Searched the Forums, Google, ... but only found the following Thread without any answer: 3CX Fax server fails

Any ideas? It's a hosted 3cx at 3cx.de.

Kai.

And to confirm your default Fax server is registered under "System extensions" ?
Are the calls coming in via a SIP trunk and does it support T.38 fax signalling ?

Which "System extensions" do you mean?

I've set up "Settings" - "FAX Server". The Inbound Rules have a DID-Rule to the "FAX Server".

If we call that extension works as expected, we can send fax documents and get a report that says all is fine.

But we get never that received fax from the 3CX. After we inspect the 3cxSystemService.log we found that "converting" error.

The TRUNK is T.38 compatible, but we have disabled it. That is not our issue at the moment. We have that "Cannot convert tif to pdf" error after receiving a fax document.

Any further Ideas?

Yes I have seen that error on another post (the same I believe you posted up previously) there was no response to it unfortunately.

The system extension I am referring to is on the 3CX dashboard under System extensions.

System Extensions > FAX FXS/ATA > "Registered"

Seems working correct?

Hello @osthoff

What provider are you using and why did you disable T.38 if the provider is T.38 capable? Are you using the G711 fallback option?

The only case i have seen this error before was when the communication with the provider was OK and the fax sending reported as successful but there were no data sent by the provider so the Fax was "empty".
