Hi there!

We have DECT phone which are connected to 3CX via the Yealink W60B, which we would like to use as phones for Hotdesking in the office. It looks like this is not supported (yet?). Is there any way to make it working or is this maybe already planned as a feature?

No this is never going to be implemented. I would avoid hot desking but if you must have it then you will have to use IP deskphones

We have the use case that we only have a couple of DECT phones which our colleagues in the office collect in the morning and return in the evening since we do not have assigned the desks specific people but rotate. They have their own extensions and use the Webclient or App, but sometimes prefer a physical phone. Do you have an idea how to solve this without hot desking? We don't want to set up phones at every desk for only a few people, who would like to use a physical phone.

Get them to use the 3CX App on their mobiles, it's like DECT..but better.

As @JosIVG said, using the 3CX mobile is the best way to go. Specific accounts for each user so that you have better visibility into how calls are handled.

If that is not an option, then you could have the staff Forward their existing extension to the DECT extension they are using that day.
