Hello Community! When using 3CX Webmeeting app for IOS and Android the feature of file transfer is not available for the guest, even when She/He is defined as Organizer or Presenter.

As the web meeting is held between a Doctor and a Patient this feature is necessary to avoid file transfer through Whatsapp or similar app.

Is it possible enable this feature?

I appreciate your contribution.

Why is the person not using a laptop or desktop instead? They would have all the features.

The Doctors always use laptop, but their patients prefer use mobile devices.

Then I would advise the doctors to tell their patient to use a laptop, since the mobile app is a nice-to-have rather than a main client for WebMeeting.

A lot of patients are using the mobile app. I would have to block access via mobile devices and sent for them an automatic reply to use laptop always they try to use mobie devices. I think would be more practical 3CX enable this feature on mobile apps, am I wrong?

I don't think they will. The mobile app is pretty barebone and, on many Android devices, it's not even necessary. Only on iOS.

I don't use Android so I cannot test. This is just something I read in a thread about WebMeeting.

Anyway, don't expect file transfer to appear on the app, so remove the reference from it on the invite email and tell doctors to have their patient use a PC.

3CX has many things to implement before that little thing on mobile, for real. I don't even think it's on their roadmap for WebMeeting.

I am aware of this. I will elaborate a process changing to "force" patients to use laptop or desktop. Anyway, thank you for your attention, Frederick.
