Solved Firmware update Snom 715 after V18

hi

i m expeting a firmware issu after upgrading on V18 with snom 715 phone

i saw this tread https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/firmware-and-provisioning-problem-snom-715.86243/

when i apply the update, the phone reboot and start downloading but stuck at 2%

• 3CX Version, 18.0 (Build 314)
• Server OS, Windows Server 2016
• Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? . On-premises
• IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware version, snom 715 version 10.1.73.16
• Provisioning Method: Local
• Trunk Provider or VoIP Gateway Make/Model,
• Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
• Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO ?

Have you tried manually updating the firmware - https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/firmware-update-snom/

ok manually it works

if found the issue, phones are in a vlan which have no access to internet. they are provisionned with 3cx ip address and not FQDN but in the phone the FW upgrade link point on the FQDN so it fail...
