Firmware Upgrade

Hi All,

This might be a simple one, but i cant find the solution ..so far.
On v18 and before we had a section with custom firmware for IP Phones.

We used to have LYDIS firmware so the phones can have the dutch language.
After upgrading to v20 i can't find that section. Just the upgrade button which turns the phone into english.

(not a problem for me, but customers do!)

That section is gone in v20 for now. However, @Nick Galea stated in another post that, within a few updates, we'll have a whole custom firmware management UI in 3CX, so you won't be limited to supported/alternative firmwares, but also custom ones for special use cases (like Grandstream who takes forever to push new firmwares to 3CX for testing.) With that, you'll be able to use whatever firmware you want on devices. There's no ETA for this feature tho.

Hi there.
At the moment, V20 no longer have the option for the Lydis firmware.
The only supported firmware is the one mentioned on the 3CX admin console and our website.

Why?.
So not dutch language anymore?, or is this baked in the firmware's from 3CX.

My colleague Oleg raised this to me and after checking we can confirm that we have the lydis firmware, but due to work load, we still have not included this as a supported firmware. It is purely because of work load.
Please bear with us a little while longer. We can assure you that this is in the Phone Interop's Pipeline of work to be done.
Anything you need, please do not hesitate and let us know.

I have manually installed the Lydis firmware version 96.86.188.10, but the server is proposing an upgrade (actually downgrade) to 96.86.0.77
The phone is now providing the Dutch interface as requested by the client.
Is the (newer) Lydis firmware indeed not compatible? Or would it be possible to run this Dutch Lydis firmware for now until the custom firmware feature becomes available in V20 ?

In this case only, ignore what the server says. (do not downgrade)
The delay is happening because of our resources. We need to test and release this firmware.
So you put the firmware manually and now you have what you want.
Bear with us, until we eventually test and support this firmware. We want to support this firmware.

Any issues you have, report here so you will be helping us in the process.

Unfortunately the router function of the phone stopped working with this firmware... I had to downgrade to the previous version and lost the Dutch interface doing so... Hopefully you will have resources ready to work on this soon...

Thank you so much for this update.
Let's meet - contact me in pm. Lets get this reported to Lydis. because if the router function stopped to work, it means that they did not make a replica image of the iso PLUS Dutch localizations.
What version did you install exactly?

What does the Lydis firmware give you that the standard does not? Is it only Dutch language?

To date, in my countless travels to your country, I have not managed to meet a Dutch person with bad English - Not a single one. Let alone someone that doesn't speak English! Everyone (90% of the population) speak just beautiful English. What do you need this firmware for?

So that everyone (assumption) speaks good English doesn't mean it can be deleted. So i quess we don't need Chinese aswell?.
So when i'm asked "Hey why is it in English now" i can just say. We live here but we don't need our native language on screen. Just use English .

Now offense here, but i don't get your answer
