We are running a 3cx phone system with clients on a mobile network.
Since both clients are on the same mobile network whey are on the same ip network aswell and direct transfer is used by 3cx.
However, the RTP packets are not received at the other end
Using Ip trace we can see that packets are sent in both directions (and nothing is reveiced) which could indicate some kind of blocking from the mobile operator. From the traces it can be seen that the source port number is the same as the destination port number (seen on one side). Shouldn't the firewall open then?
Anyway, if one of the clients are on a different network, it works because then pass through mode is selected by 3cx.
So, is there a way to force pass through mode even if the clients are on the same network?
