Forgot login

I did a linux installation a few months ago and configured it all but time has passed and I can't for the life of me figure out the credentials to login to the web admin side. I can login on the console with root and I can't remember the web interface login. Is there a way to figure it out vie the root login on the console? Also it says it blacklisted my ip from my normal computer for failed attempts is there a way to whitelist it from the root prompt on the console?

As for being blacklisted, try accessing the server from another wan IP address

Figured it out. I had to restart the system and then it allowed me to try and login again and I figured out my login.
