FTP 550 Unknown Error

Hi

We are running v20 on a Windows Server. We have another windows server on the same local network running Filezilla (most recent release).

We had backups and recording archiving to the ftp server. All was working up until 31/5/2024 and it stopped working. I cannot recall if it was an update or something else that stopped it working. The FTP is accessible through Windows and we can write and delete using the login.

We were waiting to update to version 20 and hoped that would fix it (but it didn't).

Passive mode is setup correctly. The user and password matches in Filezilla:

All the directories now go in to 1 main folder and then subfolders are created based on whatever you name them above.

Create a new directory C:\3CX and change your FTP path to have /3CX on the end

Thanks for your reply.

I have done this now but it doesn't seem to have fixed it. 3CX has created the new folders but backups fail (with a timeout error even though it has authenticated) and archiving doesn't work.

Have you checked the box for "archive" ?

what does FTP log say when the backup fails?
