Solved Function when entering into voicemail

Hello sir,

Today we got a complain from customer about a phone function.
She said that when she called someone and he is absent, the call will be transfered to his voicemail greeting.
But if she tried to transfer to other extension number, it seems that we only provide 2 options:
1 is leave message and the other is press * for the operaton.
Is it possible that we can enable the dial another extension number at this moment?
ex. "I'm not available right now, please leave your message or dial another extension number, or dial * for the operaton".

And * for the operator, where can I set the operator at the moment? Thanks.

You cannot add more options to the voicemail greeting menu but what you can do is have the operator extension send all calls to an IVR. Then you could have the voicemail greeting say something like "I'm not available right now, please leave your message or dial * to dial another extension number". When the user dials * he will be routed to the IVR and then the IVR can say something like "Dial the extension number you want to be connected to". The Direct dial feature will allow the caller to connect to whatever extension he/she dials directly.

The only problem with the above is that you will no longer be able to connect to the operator extension because, to do this, you would have to create an exception for the operator extension that forwards all calls to the IVR. It will look something like this:

And * for the operator, where can I set the operator at the moment?

You can set the Operator extension under "Settings >> General >> Operator Extensions".
