GDPR Again!

Sorry to add yet another GDPR question to the forum, but yesterday I got a call from a company trying to sell me some encryption software. There sales pitch was that GDPR makes it a requirement to encrypt voice recordings. It didn't sound right so I politely declined, but it did get me wondering. Has anyone heard of such a requirement?

GDPR does not require voice recordings to be encrypted, it just mentions that you need to run a secure environment. Please note that you can send an email to [email protected] and ask anything related to GDPR and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

GDPR is something we take seriously and we know people have concerns regarding this so we created an email address specifically for this
