'Generic' SIP Provider is available in Hosted by 3CX?

Hi,

I've just setup a new trial 4SC Pro system - hosted by 3cx.

When setting up the sip providers I found that Generic is showing as an option, and more importantly, it works!

Is this a mistake that will be taken away in a future release, or is this option here to stay?

If someone can confirm either way, that would be great.

doesn't appear to work I'd be most grateful for a new link please. The confirmation of Generic SIP provider in the UK is crtiical to us in this case.

If your question is if the Generic template is available in Hosted by 3CX then the answer is yes

Does not appear for me under the free 3cx. So since I cannot run free version as self hosted anymore and as I'm not a business so am finding both getting a SIP trunk and Pro license difficult I'm now facing prospect of ditching 3cx after 5+ years of running it. My existing SIP trunk provider SipGate is not an option by the looks of it under the free 3cx option.

With 3CX FREE systems, you can use only preferred and supported SIP trunk providers.

Generic providers can be used only with dedicated systems. The cost of subscriptions for self-hosted starts from €145 per entire year.

• Issues related to unsupported SIP Trunk Providers are not included in support.
• Supported SIP Trunk Providers Always Preferred.
