I currentlyhave a configuration of a Generic SIp trunk that has worked well with one CLEC that uses a Ribbon C15.
Using the default WAN method to their C15 - we have been using Ip only registration.This has worked flawlessy in over at least 10 installations.
We are now working with another CLEC with a C15 that requires an authenticaed registration.
So far I can not get this to work. Packet captures and errors see, to indicate that the From Host part shows the IP of the C15 instead of the Wan port of the firewall where 3cx is located.
So - I am attempting to change that field in outbound parameters. Besides having issues getting changes to save in Chrome (I oftenhave to exit completely and recoonect) I can not get the From value to reflect the local WAN port. It's as if the functionality to change parameters is not passing through to the SIP trunk.
I have tried rebuilding the trunk and even a few other various US trunk setups. Wonder if anyone else have seen a similiar issue and how to change the

I do have a case open with 3CX but having trouble to get some downtime to collect requried data.
I do have another client who needs the same configuration so also testing from that site withthe same results.
