I have an old analog phone that I absolutely love connected to my building's buzzer. The problem is, whenever I am away and someone shows up, I can't buzz them in.

Solution: Convert analog phone to VoIP and use the 3CX app with data only.

Steps taken so far:
  1. Installed the app on my iPhone
  2. Registered with 3CX
  3. Purchased HT 802 Vers02 ATA.
Wiring:
1. One cable goes from the wall phone jack to Port 01 of the ATA.
2. One cable goes from Part 02 of the ATA into the analog phone.
3. Ethernet is connected to my router.

So far so good (famous last words!). The problem I have is that I can't get either port to register with 3CX.

One the 3CX website, I go to Voice & Chat -> Add DECT/ FCX -> Select the HT 802 and enter the MAC address -> On the next page, all three options are greyed out. Not sure why that is?

I then tried to see if I could get the HT 802 to talk to 3CX from it's interface under port settings. I have tried everything and the phone will not register. What am I doing wrong?

A few things are amiss here.

1. You cannot connect a HT802 to a telco. This is solely for connecting analog devices to the network.
2. You will need to have an SBC on site (PC, Rsapberry Pi, or router phone) to carry the signal back to 3CX. This is why you do not have any options available in your screenshot.

Thank you for your response. Second question, does the SBC work with the free version? I currently have the free version. I go through all the steps but the SBC does not pickup the local IP and the WAN IP.
