Gigaset N670 - Provisioning but not registering

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with my Gigaset N670 base station not registering.
It was working but would drop off occasionally, so I factory reset the base unit. From there, I tried to auto-provision which failed until I went to the latest firmware.

It auto-provisioned and pulled down the details but continues to fail to register. I've spoken to 3cx support and they have confirmed that the phone does not send registration messages to the PBX.
3cx support have asked us to speak to Gigaset, and Gigaset have asked us to speak to the vendor who sold us the phone originally - but this is not an option for us. So we're stuck.

We're on v20, if that helps. Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone seen similar?

if the device doesn't send any register message this must be checked with Gigaset, they are the one that develop the firmware and should support the device. The vendor should also change the device if the same still has any warranty.

I have tried various different firmwares, and unfortunately Gigaset have told us that we need to speak to the vendor we bought the phone from (which I can't see helping, since they don't support the phone - they just sell it).

I have tried recreating the DECT, various different firmwares, several factory resets, different users on the DECT... everything we can think of.

This worked perfectly until we updated from v18 to v20 a couple of weeks ago.

Do you have access to the 3CX Activity Log? If so, check to see if there is any indication of a registration attempt, if there is, then does it show why it is being rejected?

If is does not show a registration attempt, then you need to figure out where the set is registering and (in the settings) why.
