GrandStream GDS3705

Hi,

I have a question about the GrandStream GDS3705.

Currently it has a firmware version of 1.0.1.18, but the 3cx available version is 1.0.1.6
Does anyone know when the current firmware will be supported?

Hi,
same issue with GDS3710. Fabric Firmware is 1.0.11.4 -> 3CX Firmware is very old 1.0.7.24
Current GDS Firmware is 1.0.11.23
Downgrade is not available.

Those versions are quiet old and it might be required to use an intermediate firmware first to allow you proceed to the latest. In this case you will need to contact with Grandstream.

No, the problem is that 3CX does not provide newer firmware for these devices. Grandstream does. But I don't want to upgrade to a version incompatible with 3CX. But one of our devices already had too new firmware from GDS factory.

The firmware versions are provided from the vendor to 3CX. After they are tested and compatible with the 3CX PBX then you can update from the management console.

I've just installed a new GDS3705.

Device version: 1.0.3.11
3CX Available version: 1.0.1.6

Same problem with Phone GRP2602 (pretty old):
Device version: 1.0.5.25
3CX Available version: 1.0.3.63

The firmware that 3CX supports is 5 years old, they really shouldn't say they still support GDS3705 since you can't get them from the factory with that firmware anymore, and haven't been for some time now.

Any idea when a new firmware might be supported?
