Problems with GDS3710

Hi, we have 2 Grandstream GDS3710 door phones. When setting the BLF key to any user extension, the door phone correctly rings that extension and the extension is able to dial PIN# to unlock the door. However, when I set the BLF to Custom Speed Dial, and se the dialed number as 800 which happens to be a dial group containing 3 reception phones, ringing the doorbell only dials the first extension in the group. Strangely, when I test it from the doorbell icon in the GDS config web page, it correctly rings all 3 phones.

On an unrelated note, the door phones were shipped with FW 1.0.11.18, but don't appear to have any mechanism for downgrading to the 3CX supported version of 1.0.7.24.

We are planning on releasing 1.0.11.18 soon.

I have tested the scenario you describe, but in my case it works correctly.

1. Ensure you set the Speed Dial Correctly


2. Reprovision the device to take the settings.

3. If 800 is a Ring Group, make sure you selected the correct strategy.


Using this method, I can confirm that you will have all 3 extensions ringing simultaneously.

If this does not work for you, maybe factory reset first, to ensure the defaults are set on the GDS3710
