I'm sure this will be a simple/dumb question for many, but I'm new to this -- so be gentle! We're running 3CX and have a series of GXP2000 phones which get their firmware from the Grandstream site. We would however, like to use custom ringtones.
1) Solar Winds TFTP has been downloaded and installed (not onto the 3CX server -- but just the machine to which the GXP2000 is connected.)
2) A proper ring1.bin, ring2.bin, ring3.bin has been placed in the TFTP root directory
3) The GXP2000 firmware has been set to get Configuration files from the locally attached machine (192.168.0.xxx)
4) Phone reboots, but nothing seems to happen and the .bin files aren't copied.
It's tough to see if the phone is even speaking with Solar Winds... any ideas? Is there something simple that I have missed?
Thanks in advance!
