I am basically brand new to setting anything up with 3cx or gateways. We are using cloud management. I have all the phones added and I am able to make calls from 1 phone to another internally. However I cannot make calls out. We Purchased a Grandstream GXW4104 to connect the analog phone line. I followed the guide for set up on the 3CX site. I am still unable to make calls in or out. When i call in I see the gateway picks up the line but then does nothing from there. The gateway says the line is busy. When I try to call out it just rings and says it is routing but the call goes nowhere. I am not sure if there is something more that needs done within the gateway to connect to 3CX or if I have the wrong information in 3cx. I was only able to register the gateway once I changed the authentication option to IP based from account based. I am not sure if that is correct or if the host address I chose was correct.

Please note that the Grandstream GXW4104 is an FXO gateway that is not supported for remote provisioning,

Please see the guide: https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/grandstream-fxo/
  • The device must be local to 3CX, in the same subnet and/or locally routed subnet (including site-to-site VPN)

Hello. In Settings -> Call Settings -> VoIP Calls in User ID you must configure the channels where the lines are connected something like this:
ch1:000000;ch2:000001;ch3-8:000002;
and in 3cx you must configure the SIP trunk with the DIDs.
You can follow the guide that was given to you https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/grandstream-fxo/ but that's basically it, it tells us how it went.
