Hi all,

Is there any way—either internally within 3CX v20 or externally—to create a graph that shows active calls, maximum concurrent calls, or similar metrics so I can monitor what the system is doing?

Ideally, I’d like to integrate this into my existing monitoring system, but there doesnt seem to be an SNMP-based solution. So far, the only method I’ve found is using the API, but that is limited to Enterprise licenses.

Does anyone know of an alternative way to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

With the 16SC+ ENT license you can push all reporting data to Grafana or PowerBI platform and make whatever reports you want.

I understand that this functionality is available with the Enterprise license. However, I manage approximately 40 instances that are not licensed at the Enterprise level. Having access to usage statistics for these systems would be very beneficial without requiring the cost of upgrading all of them to Enterprise.

Create a scheduled report to give you call statistics over a month and use excel to create a graph.

The question is whether you are looking at trends over time, or if you are looking for real-time dashboards. We can help with the real-time needs through our VoIPTools "Events" API. Our tools do not require an Enterprise license.

However, the cost of our tools is more than the cost of upgrading 3CX to an Enterprise license. So if you are OK with the time delay built into the Grafana export process, then the least-cost approach is to upgrade customers to Enterprise. It seems to me the Update 8 AI features alone justify the modest difference between Pro and Enterprise.

We offer a real-time API, and more frequent replication of data to SQL, MySQL, so there are additional options. It is up to you and your customers to decide what the information is worth.
