I am trying to like the video chat feature. However, I find it very odd that I cannot add participants from the Team members.
If I do a one-on-one video with a Team member, it is simple. I click the VIDEO icon and I am instantly connected.

However, if I want to setup a Group Video Chat, why can't I simply select the participants from the Team directly?

It seems so convoluted to have to send an email link to each Team member. In Skype for example, one simply add participants one at a time from the contacts list.

Am I missing something here? Wouldn't that be so easy to do?

Please advise. I am looking for a Skype alternative, and this one feature stops me from moving forward with 3CX's option.

I hope this gets added as a feature.

Regarding your question and being able to use video with multiple users, you will need to use the conferencing feature found under the webclient Meet section. You can create a scheduled or an Ad Hoc video conference, for Ad hoc video conference copy the meeting link from the Invite participant pop-up in the bottom right corner of the screen and send it to the users you would like to join you in a video conference.

Yes, thanks Charles. I was hoping that I could simply add the Team members that I can see and create a group video chat, rather than having to send meeting links. That would make it very simple. Not sure why this is not available to do. Cheers!

Hi there,

I believe you'll have more luck and traction with this post in the WebClient section of the forum as the options you're describing are Webclient ones and not explicitly Video Conference ones.

Please feel free to re-open this thread there for more feedback.
